Mindful Monsters Course

In our fast paced world, we could all take a moment to be more mindful. Mindful Minis helps kids of all ages learn the skills to process feelings, manage stress, act with kindness and gratitude, and focus on being present. The mission of Mindful Minis is to teach children mindfulness practices to create inner awareness, regulate emotions, face challenges, and live in the moment.

Mindful Minis is a 6 week series of classes where each class will focus on a different concept and build on the previous class. The goal of each class is for kids to learn a new skill to better connect to themselves and the world around them with confidence. Curriculum consists of activities to help kids understand how to apply mindful practices to their daily lives. This practice is meant to help kids construct a toolset to explore their emotions as they arise and find peace and understanding in them. The cost is $85 for the whole series or $15 per class.

1. Space

How to create an area anywhere dedicated to practicing mindfulness. Setting the intention of giving oneself the time and space to think and feel

2. Breath

Focuses on exploring how we are connected to our breath. Teaching children to visualize their breath, practice breathing techniques and notice how they feel with different types of breathing

5. Kindness

Learning what it means to be kind to ourselves and others. Understanding the positive impact kindness has on our relationship and well-being

3. Listen

Slowing down and taking time to perceive the world around us. Children will exercise observing the sounds they hear and how to implement active listening with others

4. Emotion
6. Gratitude

How to grow appreciation and express feeling grateful. Guiding children to recognize how they feel when they take a moment to reflect on what they are thankful for
